Salem Sue - The World's Largest Cow

Overlooking Interstate 94, on top of a hill, on New Salem, North Dakota stands a cow. She neither grazes nor moves for she is made of six tons of reinforced fiberglass and measures 38 feet in height and 50 feet in length. She is Salem Sue - the world's largest cow. Salem Sue was built in 1974 for $40,000 by the New Salem Lions Club as a tribute to the local dairy farmers.
